What is the Last Stop Athletics Student-Athlete Enrichment Center?
Last Stop Athletics provides structured daytime enrichment and support combining core academic support, PE/physical development, athletic performance training, sport-specific instruction, leadership, and high-school preparation in one location.
What grades do you serve?
Our daytime program serves students in grades 2–8 through three developmental levels: Foundation — Grades 2–4, Development — Grades 4–6, and High Performance (HS Prep) — Grades 6–8. Students in overlapping grades may be placed according to academic needs, maturity, athletic development, experience, and individual goals.
What are the program hours?
The daytime program operates Monday–Thursday from 9:00 AM–1:30 PM and includes a 30-minute break for nutrition, hydration, socializing, and fun activities.
What enrollment options are available?
Families may choose the 2-Day Program — Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday — for $110/week, or the 4-Day Monday–Thursday Program for $220/week. The 4-day program provides approximately 18 hours of weekly on-site activities, while the 2-day program provides approximately 9 hours weekly.
How are shortened school weeks priced?
Our standard rate is $55 per scheduled program day. Holidays, school breaks, partial enrollment weeks, and other shortened weeks can be prorated according to the student's selected school calendar and approved service dates.
What academic subjects do you support?
Academic support may include English Language Arts, reading, writing, grammar, mathematics, science, history/social studies, homework support, organization, study skills, and academic goal setting. Programming is adjusted according to grade level, small-group needs, and the individual student's coursework.
Do you provide the student's regular school curriculum?
Last Stop provides enrichment and academic support services. We do not replace the student's school of enrollment, supervising teacher, charter curriculum, or independent-study requirements. Students may bring their assigned coursework so our educators can provide structured assistance and support.
What athletic services are included during the daytime program?
Programming may include strength and conditioning, introductory weights, speed and agility, coordination, mobility, athletic movement, softball development, football position development, football theory, PE activities, and multi-sport cross-training including sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and racquet sports.
Are the physical activities aligned with California PE standards?
Our athletic programming is designed to provide California PE standards-aligned support, including movement skills, physical fitness, coordination, strength and endurance, teamwork, personal responsibility, and healthy physical-activity habits. A student's school or charter determines how outside activities are documented or accepted toward its PE requirements.
What is D1 Mindset?
D1 Mindset: Student-Athlete Leadership focuses on goal setting, accountability, discipline, confidence, teamwork, time management, communication, leadership, academic responsibility, and preparation for higher levels of competition and education.
Do students do the exact same activities every day?
No. Flexible programming is an important part of our model. Subjects, training activities, and instructional groups may change according to student age, academic needs, athletic goals, development level, instructor availability, small-group placement, and participating charter-school requirements.
Who works with the students?
Our team includes California credentialed educators, former NCAA Division I and collegiate athletes, bachelor's and master's degree graduates, experienced coaches, mentors, and student-development professionals. Parents and charter-school personnel can view detailed staff profiles and qualifications on our website.
Can charter-school educational funds be used?
We are pursuing partnerships and approved-vendor relationships with participating charter schools. Use of educational funds depends on the student's charter, available funding, approved services, vendor status, and required purchase-order or authorization process. Families should obtain charter approval before assuming services will be funded.
Can families pay out-of-pocket?
Yes. Private-pay enrollment is available for homeschool, private-school, district independent-study, and other families who would like to participate without charter educational funding.
Do we have to enroll for the entire school year?
No. The website calendar will allow families to explore full-year, semester, learning-period, or selected-week enrollment, subject to availability and any charter-school authorization requirements.
How do I know what my program will cost?
Use our online Program Pricing Calculator. Select your student's grade, development level, school calendar, 2-day or 4-day schedule, and enrollment dates. The calculator will show scheduled service days, prorated weeks, weekly hours, and estimated total cost.
Do you offer services after the daytime program?
Yes. Last Stop Athletics also offers afternoon and evening services, including personal training, small-group athletic training, softball pitching, hitting and fielding, football position development, Spanish I and Spanish II academic support, and D1 Mindset programming. Availability and pricing can be viewed separately on our website.
Can parents tour the facility before enrolling?
Yes. Families can request a facility tour, speak with our staff, learn about program placement, and discuss academic and athletic goals before enrolling.
